"Monarch" Hand Painted Glass in Sterling Silver and 14k Gold Fill Pendant Necklace

This hand painted glass cabochon by the incomparable Catherine Anderson looks like it has a monarch butterfly wing captured inside! Its magical combination of orangey golds and array of silvers just begged to be wrapped in mixed metals. I used a combination of pure sterling silver and 14k gold fill for both the wires and beads, and added one white and one black mother of pearl flowers to complete the contrasting look.
